Gower Accountancy was established in 1999 by its principal and founder, a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Marcel A Ulrich. Of Swiss origin, Marcel has in excess of 30 years experience in accounting and associated matters. The company was originally based in Gower Street in central London and hence the name. Since then it is now based in Fleet Street in modern offices overlooking the former Newspaper Street. We are renowned for providing a first class professional service to both our business and personal clients and we pride ourselves on maintaining this reputation.

Marcel A Ulrich who is the managing Partner of our London office is fluent in a number of European languages and this has resulted in the company securing a considerable number of overseas clients. He first came to England in the early 1970s and given the knowledge of his languages he joined a major London tour operator and travel agent as foreign accountant to oversee their foreign operations. He then gained considerable experience by acting as the accountant for a small ambitious firm of solicitors in central London who handled an extremely diverse portfolio of clients. Upon qualifying with ACCA he founded Gower Accountancy where he pursued his ambition to handle the needs of the smaller and emerging businesses right from the incorporation of companies to full final accounts. Over the years Marcel built up a very diverse type of clients and he continued with his motto to provide "A Professional Service with a Personal Touch".

The company gained considerable experience over the years in the retail sector, solicitors' accounts, residential properties and restaurants as well as company secretarial work. Furthermore the company handles personal and corporate tax affairs for a considerable number of clients and has recently gained substantial experience in the mining and mineral exploration industry.
